    Rôl Cymru mewn llygredd plastig

    Mae Pwyllgor Newid Hinsawdd, Amgylchedd a Materion Gwledig y Cynulliad Cenedlaethol wedi cyhoeddi adroddiad ar lygredd plastig. Mae’n gwneud deuddeg argymhelliad i Lywodraeth Cymru ar ffyrdd o wella ein perfformiad amgylcheddol, gan gynnwys:

    • Deddfwriaeth i gyfyngu microplastigion
    • Creu strategaeth 10 mlynedd gyda’r nod o leihau llygredd plastig
    • Gweithredu cynllun cyfrifoldeb cynhyrchydd estynedig ar gyfer plastig
    • Gweithredu Cynllun Dychwelyd Adnau

    Plastic pollution in Wales

    Wales’ role in plastic pollution

    The Committee on Climate Change, Environment and Rural Affairs of the National Assembly has published a report on plastic pollution. It makes twelve recommendations to Welsh Government on ways to improve our environmental performance, including:

    • Legislating to restrict microplastics
    • Create a 10-year strategy aimed at reducing plastic pollution
    • Implement an extended producer responsibility scheme for plastic
    • Implement a Deposit Return Scheme (DRS)
